When You Are Separated, You Are Easily Manipulated

How to Recognize if You’re Externally Motivated by Fear

Separation leads to fear. When you are being run by fear then you are easily manipulated. The environment dictates how you behave, so when things in your external world begin to change, then that’s what causes you to change.

The problem with this is you become separated from yourself, from the Self you truly are, as you begin to identify more with what’s outside of you rather than within.

Adaptability is one thing, but being governed by an illusion is dangerous. This is because our outer world is just a reflection of our inner world, and if we are living in fear on the inside, fear is what we will experience on the outside.

Now, you might be thinking, “I’m not afraid of the Big Bad Wolf”, however if you dig deep inside and you do not have feelings of love, acceptance, gratitude, or at least neutrality on a topic, I hate to tell you, but you have fear within you.

Let me also explain that “fear” is not necessarily feelings of being afraid, fear is anything that is not love. Hate is a form of fear. Pride is a form of fear. Apathy, guilt, shame, anger, resentment are all forms of fear at their core. Fear is a sneaky little bitch.
