Why is it that we find ourselves in shock and surprise when we actually receive what we’ve asked for?

Is it disbelief that we can actually manifest things? Is it the OMG I don’t actually deserve to have this feeling that creeps in? Or maybe the freak out moment when you realize, like Urkel, that yes, indeed, you did do that.

Silly humans we are — when we get what we want, we often deny ourselves of graciously receiving our desires, that have so dutifully manifested in physical form, and push them away by our inability to accept our gifts from the Goddess.

As Abraham (Hicks) proclaims, Ask and it is given.

We came to this planet to learn the art of manifestation, to experience a reality of requesting and receiving. We are the Divine in physical form. We must learn to graciously accept what we ask for, coming from a mindset where abundance thrives.

When we come here, we are taught to play small. We become disempowered through the conditioning of our current culture, and society certainly doesn’t want us getting all powerful and tenacious enough to follow our dreams.

Could you imagine everyone just running around, happily manifesting their lives, living in accordance to their highest truth and…
