Embracing Our Unique Journey
Stepping onto our path
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
-Lao Tzu
Everything that we do in our lives is a stepping stone we can use to manifest our dreams and desires.
Often we believe these steps have to be huge, scary, and way out of our comfort zone for anything "real" to happen, and yes, taking action in this form will definitely get you results, but how about all the steps you take for granted?
The little things like doing an internet search, sending an email, eating a healthy lunch, taking a day off, and even organizing your office can all be stepping stones to your dream future.
Each thing we do that moves the needle forward counts, just like each step of that thousand mile journey. You can only go one step at a time, and over time, all these little, single steps add up.
The important thread to remember is that no two journeys are alike. Just because one person seems to be fearless about doing some things while another might be plugging away at the "smaller" steps doesn't mean they both won't reach their destinations at the time that is right for them.
When we compare ourselves, our journeys, or try to keep up with the Joneses at the end of the block, we are negating and diminishing the beauty of our own experience.
Honoring, enjoying, and having gratitude for where you are, right at this very moment, is what will link you to the frequency of your desire faster than anything else. Yes, taking action is imperative to manifestation, but that feeling is the real key to success here.
Are you enjoying your journey or does each day feel like a means to the end? Are you waiting for things to line up, for something else to happen first, or to "be ready"?
If so, you might want to try thinking "well, I don't have it all figured out, but I'm gonna do it anyway and figure it out as I go!"
Trust that the Universe is showing you the next step by the inspiration you receive, or by noticing what lights you up- makes your heart sing. When you get feelings like this, it's a hint that perhaps you should see where that sign points.
