3 Easy Steps for Moving Forward

With the end of the decade fast approaching, why not take some time to reflect on your life? Where are you at in relation to where you want to go? What stands between you and your goals? How badly do you want to get from here to there?

Asking these questions might bring a twinge of disappointment if you feel like you haven’t made a lot of progress, but they can also be a great starting point to create an action plan to move forward.

Too often we get caught up in our heads and spend months, years, and yes, even decades being a dreamer. We get stuck in what I call the 3 dream stages.

The Planning Stage.

We think we need a solid plan before starting. Instead of just doing something, we spend hour after hour, day after day, thinking of how to achieve our dreams and then before we know it several years have passed and we’re in the same place we were when we started.

The Excuse Stage

This is where we talk ourselves out of doing what would make our hearts sing because we think we can’t do it, it’ll take too long, we’re not ready, don’t know how, don’t deserve it, blah, blah, blah. Most people are trapped here.

The Half Assing-it Stage
